Fulfillment Policy

At My Mindset NYC Mental Health Counseling Services, PLLC, we are committed to providing high-quality mental health services while maintaining transparency in our policies. This Fulfillment Policy outlines our refund and cancellation policies to ensure a clear understanding of our terms of service.
1. Refund Policy
Due to the nature of mental health services, refunds are generally not available once a session has been completed. However, refunds may be granted under the following circumstances:
Billing Errors: If an administrative error results in an incorrect charge, we will promptly issue a refund for the excess amount.
Duplicate Charges: If a client is inadvertently charged more than once for the same service, the excess charge will be refunded.
Cancellations in Compliance with Our Policy: If a session is canceled within the permitted timeframe (see Cancellation Policy below), any pre-paid fees may be refunded or credited.
Extenuating Circumstances: In rare cases, such as a documented medical emergency, refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Non-Refundable Fees
Refunds will not be issued for completed consultation and therapy sessions. Once a session has taken place, all payments are final.
Missed appointments, no-shows, and same-day cancellations that do not fall under extenuating circumstances are non-refundable. Clients are responsible for managing their appointments in accordance with our cancellation policy.
Fees for digital or educational materials provided as part of a treatment plan are non-refundable.
Refund requests can be submitted by contacting us at info@mymindsetnyc.com with your full name, appointment details, and reason for the request. Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 7-10 business days.
2. Cancellation Policy
We recognize that unexpected situations may arise and strive to accommodate our clients while maintaining the integrity of our scheduling system.
Consultation, Therapy, & Clinical/Professional Supervision Sessions
Cancellations must be made at least 24 to 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment to avoid cancellation fees.
Missed appointments, no-shows, and same-day cancellations that are not due to extenuating circumstances are non-refundable. The full session fee may be charged in these instances.
Extenuating Circumstances: Clients who experience an emergency (e.g., hospitalization, severe illness) may request a waiver of cancellation fees, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Press Collaboration & Workshops
Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance may be eligible for a full refund or credit toward a future event.
Cancellations made within 24 hours are non-refundable; however, credits may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

By scheduling an appointment or enrolling in our services, clients acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Fulfillment Policy, which aligns with the regulations of major payment card networks, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
